About Us

Our passion to grow food started in our own little garden. What began as a few garden beds quickly turned into a big vision. When our daughter was born, we realised how important it was to know exactly what was in the food we were eating and feeding our children. That simple idea, food you can trust, accompanied us ever since.

The first big step was taking over Cairns Microgreens. We loved growing Microgreens, being at the markets and seeing people leave with a smile. Customers kept asking us to grow more good organic food, so our farm grew.
Today, our farm is home to a colourful mix of vegetables. We grow a wide range of crops, from carrots and beetroots to tomatoes, cucumbers, leafy greens and more. We are always looking for the best varieties to grow for flavour, freshness, and nutrition.

Our farm is truly a family project. We (Matthew and Alena) work side by side, supported by one full-time employee and seasonal workers during the busy times. Each Friday morning we bring our produce to Rusty’s Market in Cairns. The feedback we get motivates us to keep going. Many people tell us our vegetables taste like the food they remember from their childhood and they are surprised how long our food lasts compared to others. Hearing these words motivates us every week to keep growing more. We’re excited about the future and look forward to sharing more good food with you each season.
